Hello & thankyou for visiting Calicelesti Akitas. We are June Forman & Carl Watson. We have both owned dogs all our lives Carl was raised with a stubborn chow & he still holds them dear to him. I was raised on a farm & we had working border collies, so my love for obedience & working dogs came way before the showing of them. After leaving home I got my first German Shepherd (Nisa) she was my true heart dog, my constant companion, I could train her to do anything, she left me way to soon. Tika entered my life from a puppy, she was all matted & scruffy the kind of pup you really should walk away from... We spent years together, along the way we lived with staffies & rotties too, I obebience trained all of them. When it came to getting another dog Carl decided we should change breeds, he wanted chow, I wanted German Shepherd...enter Keasha!! Our first Akita, who became the foundation bitch of Calicelesti Akitas, after getting the showing bug Logan was next. I have learnt alot from these two..that they are more stubborn than any mule!! From our first litter we got Sumo, soon to be our first champion!! & boy what a ride it's been showing him!!! & here we are 10 years on, we still have our original dogs, we're not into breeding much or swapping & changing our dogs, we have just kept badger from only our 4th litter. We're a small kennel in the East Midlands 4 miles from J26 of the M1, we have owned and shown Akita's for over 10 years. We very rarely breed, but when we do, we endevour to produce Akita's of the highest quality with good temperaments been very important to us. We show at champ shows and the rest of the time our dogs live as family pets. Our puppies are raised in the house and are well socalised . We offer after sales help and advice, and are only a phone call away for any of our puppies' owners.
